Renegade Music Ministries

It’s a new day! With big plans and busy days on the horizon, I wanted to take a moment to let you know what’s coming next.

Like most children born into military families, I spent my youth bouncing around from army base to army base and garnering a unique perspective on military life, and the soldiers that protect our country. I also spent countless hours taking part in military chapel services. My father was a chaplain, so every Sunday I found myself sitting in the post chapel.

Occasionally, I was able to visit civilian churches. I couldn’t help but compare the military services of my childhood to their civilian counterparts. The civilian churches always had cool music, interesting sermons, and excellent youth groups. Most of all I always felt lots of energy coming from the congregation. These elements combined to create an atmosphere unlike any chapel service I’d ever witnessed.

Over the years, I’ve learned that there are a lot of restrictions on what military chapels are able to do or produce to their communities. I think this is a tragedy and a huge missed opportunity to reach young soldiers who do so much for our country. So I want to change that.

My music career and my love of military communities have led to my calling and my next big endeavor – forming Renegade Music Ministries. Through Renegade, I want to provide quality worship experiences to military chapels. Renegade offers a rare opportunity to combine the skills I developed while engaging in the Nashville music scene and while leading worship for military chapels and share the result with as many chapels as I can. I believe that resourcing quality worship leaders and placing them in military chapel services will be a great way to reach our military service members.

A way to serve them for a change.

Renegade’s mission is going to take a lot of hard work, but with God’s blessing I think it will do great things and change lives.

Soon, I’ll give Renegade and its mission a test run on the island of Oahu, where I am currently based and serving military communities. After that, the sky is the limit. I hope to reach as many military bases as possible. I am appreciative of your thoughts, prayers, and contributions to this mission. I believe it is a team effort and we all will be relying on each other to make great things happen for the kingdom of God.
